Amy P. Bryan was born in Mineral Wells, Texas, and graduated from Mineral Wells High School. She attended Tarleton State University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and graduated magna cum laude. At Tarleton, she was a member of Alpha Chi Honor Society and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. She attended Texas Tech University School of Law, where she obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree, graduated cum laude, and was named to Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Amy was also awarded the Board of Regents Scholarship and received American Jurisprudence awards for Income Tax, Trial Advocacy, and Marital Property.
She is a member of the Erath County Bar Association and was named a 2006 Texas Rising Star by Texas Monthly in their Super Lawyers Publication. Amy is admitted to practice in all Texas State Courts (1995). She serves on the State Bar Board of Directors as the representative for District 14. Locally, Amy serves on the school board for Santo I.S.D. She is married to her husband Robert and has two sons.
